OVERVIEW

Our client is a lower mid-market Private Equity firm investing in franchise/multi-unit and industrial services/niche manufacturing companies. The firm specializes in supporting founder-owners and talented management teams in industries where the firm can apply its operational experience and financial expertise to build leading companies with operations based in the Southeastern U.S. The team has been investing together for over 10 years.

2024 ASSOCIATE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Associate role involves performing a wide variety of tasks and analysis in direct support of the team. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the management of all aspects of investment evaluation and execution, including meetings with management, oversight of 3rd-party advisors, and discussions with financing sources
  • Lead industry, business and financial diligence efforts
  • Lead transaction structuring and modeling efforts
  • Work with portfolio company management teams to monitor performance and execute on business strategy, including internal operating initiatives and follow-on acquisitions and financing
REQUIREMED SKILLS
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical skills, including quantitative analysis and complex modeling skills
  • Superior oral and written communication skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task with limited supervision
  • Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to tactfully disagree when appropriate
  • Proven ability to thrive under pressure and tight deadlines
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE
  • 2+ years investment banking experience
  • Top tier academic background and excellent academic achievement, with a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent quantitative discipline
  • Demonstrated ties to Atlanta/Southeast
  • Significant interest in working in the middle market
